How to reach higher targets?

As entrepreneurs, getting out of our comfort zone is a daily exercise, and like professional athletes, we have to push ourselves to reach ambitious goals over and over again.


But, do we really know what we can achieve before achieving it?


What would happen if you set your targets 5x or 10x higher? What would you have to do to get there?


If your goal is, for example, to get 2 new clients by the end of the week, what would you have to do to get 10? Which activities could you increase? What resources would it require? How could you get that in place? What systems/tools you could use to achieve that? Which other activities you could give up on?


Your thoughts and actions are the reasons why you are where you are right now.


So how can you think differently, what can you do differently?


Do the exercise and you will discover new opportunities, new ways of thinking and realize that you can reach bigger goals.


When I launched thehub.io in Norway in 2016, we set up KPIs which I thought were unrealistic, but we agreed to do everything it took to achieve them.



Can we send up to 100 emails per day to new companies to invite them to join the platform? Yes, we can and we did.

Can we actually find 100+ new companies per day to reach out to? Yes, we can and we did.

Can we get 100+ new profiles on the platform within a month? Yes, we can and we did.

Can we get up to 100 applicants per day? Yes, we can and we did.


Every week we were testing different strategies and along the way keeping the ones that created the biggest impact.


In the end, we reached all the targets we thought were impossible.


We even got used to aiming higher and pushing our limits became a game.


My advice, aim higher, give it a try and learn along the way.


You have little to lose, and a lot to gain.
